I came across this article recently and found it very interesting. Often people ask what one might do with a bunch of empty buildings if indeed offices became redundant.
What I often say is that those old office buildings could be converted into homes, places where energy can be stored or even created, or I’ve even stated that they could become indoor farms.
Little did I know that this was already in development.
This solution would indeed work extremely well and it’s possible to say that in the future, old abandoned office blocks could well be the place where your food might grow.
Do you think this would be a viable solution, seeing that it would be a completely carbon neutral solution too?
