Ingredients
- 200g butter
- 1 cup oats
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown muscavado sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup choc chips
- pre-heat oven 190 degrees
Instructions
- Combine and cream the sugar and butter in a bowl.
- Mix in and beat the eggs and flour until smooth (ish)
- Add the salt and baking soda and mix
- Add coconut and oats, choc chips – mix
- Prep your baking surface with grease paper lining and either a) spoon small dollops with plenty of space in between (for making circular cookies) OR b) pour a generous layer of the mixture onto the baking tray, making one large square, ready for cutting later when it is ready.
- Bake for 13 mins or until golden brown.
- It’ll still be soft slightly, remove from oven and allow to cool ready for eating or cutting.
