If someone asked me exactly one year ago where I would be today and what I would be doing, I think I would be hard pressed to say what has actually been going on.
I might have said something like life is good and fun, and business is still going steady. Now that is still good by any standards, but actually things have really moved forward a lot.
Really, I never would have thought that I’d be a director of 5 companies, been part of a conference where the Dalai Lama, Sir Richard Branson and FW de Klerk spoke, and preparing for a round the world trip where I’ll be dropping by 7 cities over 3 continents, with 6 fashion photo shoots to do, and culminating all in Billionaire Bootcamp.
I’ve been known to have an imagination and even I didn’t imagine this. What I did put out there as my single main goal exactly one year ago, was to find a way in which I could help and empower other people to create successful businesses online.
That single thought spawned a whole new range of conversations, and through people I know and people I talk to, I somehow ended up with greater learnings.
The most important thing I learnt was that I wanted to do more than just help people make successful online businesses, I wanted to help people make successful lives of their own.
I had learnt fundamentally that all life is interconnected. There is no real separator which separates your business life from your personal or spiritual life.
It’s all just life.
Each area of our lives consequentially affects all the other areas, and we are people are all connected to each other, whether we like it or not.
Once I understood this, I realised that becoming one single congruent whole, meant creating absolute purpose and direction in life, on a track that no persons would dare interrupt because it is so true and noble.
Einstein said it, imagination is more important that knowledge.
Think about what you imagined for your life and see if that is what is currently happening. If it isn’t the way you imagined it, think of it like this, you are where you are in life because you want what you wanted here and now.
