I must say, writing has never felt easier. In a short a time as 28 days and 2 hours, I managed to cram out my first draft of my first book at a whopping 56,000 words. I always imagined it would be difficult, however with the help of someone who has coached hundreds of people through it, namely Mindy, it is a lot easier and I could easily write another.

That's not to say that the first book is complete, there are still numerous edits that are required in order to get it to a publishable state, however the bulk of the content is out and the rest should be plain sailing.

Society is an incredibly fascinating place and often times when I'm out and about in central London I observe some interesting things about the citizens of London. Recently I've encountered something which I find totally fascinating and somewhat concerning at the same time.

It reminds me of a story I read about in Malcolm Gladwells book called Outliers. It's the story of the descendants of the Appalachian Mountains which discusses the importance of learned behaviours from ancestors.

So what have you done with the time? Have you managed to make some plans and stick to them? Are your plans so big you don't know where to start?

It's quite strange how it still feels like the beginning of the year, however the reality is that we've already had a tenth of it.

Lately I've been really concentrating on doing the things that really matter. You know, those things which when you do them will make all the difference, but also those ones where you find the most distractions to take you away from them.

Do you find yourself wondering from time to time what's in store for you? Or do you spend more time creating your store and making your life happen the way you dictate it to?

The beginning of the year is oftentimes a great time in the year because it causes us to reflect apon the previous year's results and also think ahead. Whether you want to or not, I think inevitably everyone will ponder ahead, however only some will plan for it and most will let the future happen to them as such.

I've been lucky enough recently to be training with a world class fitness trainer and lately we've been training in some of the gyms in central London. As a result I've made the commitment to the process and sometimes I even travel up to central London during morning rush hour.

This morning was such a morning, and let me just say that I am astounded by people and the lives they lead. Waiting on the platform at Raynes Park station, I could see even at 7:35am that it was an extremely busy day. I seemed to remember 10 years ago when I was commuting daily like this, that it didn't come close to this busy at this early hour.

First off, I must apologise for not writing in so long. It has been crazy since July and after having come back from Billionaire Bootcamp in Portugal, I once again had a notebook full of new ideas to implement and have been busy creating new and exciting things in my life.

Just a few nights ago, we went to the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park and this event is held every spring and autumn to showcase artworks from over 100 galleries, all of which are under 3,000.

As I sit here writing this, my mind is flickering between all the things that have happened in the recent past and just wondering how much of all this contributes to my future and ultimately to my contribution to society and my family, not to mention my own personal fulfilment.

I've noticed that in life, everything I do and go for, I do it with extreme drive and I always go for number one, and this lead to me thinking about the significance of aiming high vs. aiming for just ok, or as in the title suggests, the Number 1 vs. Number 2 mentality.

I'm back, and it's been another incredible journey from being a participant to now being part of a crew of people helping other people to make amazing changes in their lives, to allow them to move forward and choose to live the life they've always wanted.

For the past 8 days I have been in the Tivoli Marina Hotel in Vilamoura helping out with the Billionaire Bootcamp training for Christopher Howard trainings and ThinkBig Education.

What an intensive experience this has all been. I'm back home after an incredible journey of even more self discovery and even though I've been waking up the last 4 nights repeatedly, getting restless sleep and my energy is totally drained, I've been refilled by the sheer power of positivity from my fellow life students at the Chris Howard training programs.

Today was the last day of the intensive platform skills course and also the day of my official graduation from the Academy of Wealth and Achievement. What a journey it has been.

Well it's the end of day 1 of this training program called Platform Skills Intensive and I'm once again diving in and soaking myself into the change process and the skills and learnings I'm about to get throughout the course of the next 6 days.

This is one of the Christopher Howard training courses and I can say from firsthand experience and from hearing about other people's opinions that this is certainly one of the best trainings on the market for learning to be exquisite presenting from a stage.
