First off, I must apologise for not writing in so long. It has been crazy since July and after having come back from Billionaire Bootcamp in Portugal, I once again had a notebook full of new ideas to implement and have been busy creating new and exciting things in my life.
Just a few nights ago, we went to the Affordable Art Fair in Battersea Park and this event is held every spring and autumn to showcase artworks from over 100 galleries, all of which are under 3,000.
Walking around the corner of one of the aisles, I heard the funniest phrase being said. This art lover was clearly observing some amazing work of art, and in a sudden outburst, in kind of a gay sounding manner, he stated, “oooh, this piece of art is so arrogant!”.
It cracked me up, how can a painting be arrogant? It got me thinking, what else could be arrogant? My computer screen…. is that arrogant? Perhaps my car is arrogant? I don’t think so, however we do all know someone who could be called arrogant, or at least in your perception they are.
Now we talk about perception, perhaps all they are being is proud and confident. There’s nothing wrong with that. In fact, they next time you come across someone like that, ask yourself why it is you have a problem with them, because I’ll tell you this, this is really an internal reflection of something within yourself which you wish could be better.
Think about that for a second.
In the case of perceived arrogance, it may be that their (possibly overly) proud and confidence manner is something you wish you could have yourself! Ahhh!!!!! Now isn’t that an insight.
No, I hear you say. That’s not true. The fact that your inner voice denies it, means that it is true, because if it wasn’t even an issue, you’re unconscious or conscious awareness would not even register it as something to discuss!!
Right, so what else has been happening? Well let’s start with the recent. Last night I went to the Latin and Ballroom Championships in the Royal Albert Hall and what a fantastic event if was. A large number of professional dancers from all over the world got together to compete to see who is best! I think one of the most endearing things was the great sportsmanship manners which everyone had. Congratulation each other and really admiring each other.
There were sensual Rumbas, fiery Pasa Dobles, elegant Waltzs and a lot of spinning! All in all it’s nice to see another side of a different world, one which I am not a part of. There are so many things happening in life that we should all step outside of your own world once in a while and experience something completely different.
You can find these things happening all over London on a daily basis, all you have to do is take action and do it.
So I’ve also been asked to speak at The E2 Exhibition in Excel in November 17th-18th. This is a great honour and I’ll be doing some workshops to help people get a better understanding of search engine optimisation and also conversion strategies. This will be my first big public speaking gig and I’m really excited to be asked and also to have an opportunity to help other startup entrepreneurs to get their ideas flowing.
If you are free, come along to the event at www.thee2live.com
At the beginning of the year I had set myself some rather large goals, and as I always say, you don’t enter a race to race to become 2nd place do you. That would be a strange race!
So I always aim high. Some goals I’ve achieved and some I have not, what’s more important is that I took action towards all of the goals and I know that if not now or this year, then soon I’ll achieve all that I want. If you set out to do anything, always do it to best you can and aim to be the best at doing it. If you can take that mindset into everything you do, you’ll soon create more success in your life that you could have thought possible.
